All Hunter Under Saddle Classes
Open to all ages. To walk, trot and canter both ways of the ring. To be judged on performance and way of going, with emphasis on manners and suitability to rider.
All Hunter Over Fences Classes
Open to all ages. To be judged on manners, suitability and way of going. All Equitation on the Flat - Open to all ages. To walk, trot and canter both ways of the ring. Rider to be judged on hands, seat, guidance and control.
All Equitation Over Fences Classes
Open to all ages. To be judged on hands, seat, guidance and control.
- If Rider has shown in cantering over fences classes, they may only ride in Pre-Short/Long Divisions Unjudged
- If RIDER has ever shown at 2' or higher, they may only ride in Pre-Short/Long Division or the Short/Long Divisions Unjudged
Pre-Short/Long Stirrups Divisions (101-105)
This division is intended for the horse/rider combination that is STARTING to canter over fences. Riders may trot into the first fence in the line, but they must canter out of the line. Trotting the entire course will be penalized. To jump a simple course of 6 to 9 fences at 18". May Not show in B Ring or any other over fences classes that day.
Short/Long Stirrups Division (106-110)
Open to all ages. To jump a simple course of 6-9 fences at 18". Simple lead changes not to be penalized. May NOT show in classes 101-105, B-Ring, or any other over fences classes that day.
Novice Divisions
Open to Riders that have not won 5 Blue ribbons in classes over jumps at 2' or higher. Ribbons won in these Divisions do not affect your status for the year. Rider may stay in these divisions for the show series. Ribbons won in novice flat classes do not affect status in novice classes over fences. However, ribbons won in novice classes over fences do affect rider's status in flat classes. Simple lead changes not to be penalized. To jump a course at 2' (no oxers).
Low Hunter Division (116-118)
Open to all ages including Professionals/Trainers. To be shown over a course of 6 to 10 fences at 2’3”.
Low Equitation On The Flat
No Professionals
Low Medal (119)
Open to all ages. No Professionals. This is an Equitation class to be shown over a course of 6 to 10 fences at 2'3". There may be a call back test for the top four competitors, at the judge’s discretion. USEF Test 1-9
Open Hunter/Equitation Division (121-125)
Open to all ages including Professionals/Trainers. To be shown over a course of 6 to 10 fences at 2’6” to 2’9”
Handy Hunter (123)
Open to all ages including Professionals/Trainers. Course may have: tight turns, pen type obstacles, hand gallop a jump, trot a lowered obstacle (not to exceed 2’3”), walk an obstacle (not to exceed 18”), halt
and/or back-up, open gate while mounted.
TRSC Medal Class (124)
Open to all ages including Professionals/Trainers. The Medal Class is an Equitation Test over fences for the intermediate to advanced competitor, following the USEF guidelines for Equitation and Medal classes. There may be a call back test for the top four competitors at the judge’s discretion. USEF Tests 1-18
Twin Rivers Saddle Club Membership required to show and/or school
Attention Trainers/Riders/Parents: Pre-S/L Stirrups will split at 16 or at the Ring Steward's
discretion to alleviate conflicts with Ring B. Trainers who have Riders/Horses in the 1st divisions in Ring B
will ride the 1st split in Ring A. Trainers with Ring conflicts must contact the Ring Steward in A and B Ring.

Rules:
- Rider/horse combination must show in all classes in a division to be eligible for Grand and Reserve
- Grand and Reserve will not be awarded unless there are at least 4 entries in each of the division classes.
- First Place Prizes will only be given in classes of 3 or more entrants
- If Rider has shown in cantering over fences classes, they may only ride in Pre-Short/Long Divisions Unjudged
- If RIDER has ever shown at 2' or higher, they may only ride in Pre-S/L Divison or the Short/Long Divisions Unjudged
- Professionals Allowed in Classes 116-118, 121-125. Professionals entering any other
classes must ride without a back number and will receive Judge’s Comments Only.
